This is more of a wishlist on a budget as I finished my summer job last week and need to make the money last! I absolutely love a/w fashion as the clothes tend to suit me more than summer clothes and I love being able to layer up and wear cosy, comfortable clothes. Another thing I need is a pair of black ankle boots but I haven't been able to find any that I like/can afford yet so if anybody has any recommendations they'd be really appreciated. Hopefully I'll have more time to blog now that I've finished work anyway so there's a silver lining! Expect lots of outfit/picture posts! x

So I'm terrible at blogging at the moment. These are just some pictures from the best photo competition where I work (credit to ty hen). I finish on Saturday -sobsob- so I'll be able to do a few more posts as I wont be working everyday. I think I'll genuinely miss working because I've met loads of new people there and I won't see most of them until next summer now. Somebody on tumblr asked me to do a beauty favourites post but I haven't got time to take pictures so you're going to have to make do with a text post for now. Once I find something I like I stick with it/buy other things from that range so that's why you'll see a lot of Benefit and The Body Shop.

Face

I don't wear foundation because it makes my skin look terrible so instead I use Benefits porefessional primer as it smooths my skin without being thick or cakey. I also rarely wear mascara so I just got a cheap one whilst I was out one day. I mainly focus on keeping my skin clear/moisturized because it gets really dry and spotty if I don't cleanse/tone/moisturize it twice a day. I also use Simple wipes if I'm ever away from home or  if I'm being lazy.

Hair

I haven't dyed my hair in over a year and its in pretty good condition so I don't really bother buying expensive hair products. As I leave my hair to dry naturally and don't use any heat on it I don't use much on it. I usually just use whatever shampoo my mum buys for me but I use a more expensive one about twice a month, not a specific brand as long as it's moisturizing and actually works. I also use dry shampoo on occasion but again, not anything specific just whatever I buy.

Body

As you can see my beautiful nephew has arrived! Bobby was born at 10:21 on Saturday the 11th of August. Really I'm just writing this to show him off because he's gorgeous heh heh heh.

If you knew me you'd know that this obviously isn't everything I want, but these are the things I genuinely think I will buy. I don't really have a ''style'' like most people, I just buy what I like and hope I can find a way of incorporating it into my wardrobe! Summer reading list.

Since my job is to sit by a pool  for 5 hours a day I'm going to be reading a lot of books this summer! So I thought I'd do a list of all the books I'll be reading (mainly old ones that I loved so much I re-read them constantly).

Retail Therapy

Does anybody else love fabric shopping or am I just a massive weirdo? Honestly I could spend hours just wandering around! Today I went to my local fabric shop -via body shop- and bought lots of material I have no time to do anything with.

Tomorrow is my induction day for my new job (pool attendant) and I am simultaneously excited and crapping myself. The worst part is definitely going to be waking up at half seven every morning for the rest of the summer! Best parts? Probably being paid to sunbathe, unlimited pool access and 4 hour breaks :) x

First post!

I hate making first posts on blogs, it just feels so awkward. Anyway. I'll be using this as more of a personal blog/diary than my tumblr. Creative soul that I am, I really enjoy art, fashion, music and writing/reading, so my posts will mainly consist of those things as well as things I've done/places I've been.
